Dentures

At New Roc Dental, we are all about smiles. Whether you need some or all of your teeth replaced, we are happy to offer a variety of tooth replacement options. Dentures are one of our most popular treatments. Our team can use dentures to restore the look and functionality of your teeth so you can eat, speak, and chew normally.

What Are Dentures Used for?

We can use dentures to replace some or all of a patient’s teeth. Many patients who have lost a large number of teeth struggle to find foods they can enjoy. Because they cannot chew as well, their diet may become very limited. In addition to difficulties eating, tooth loss often affects a person’s ability to speak as well. If a patient has severe tooth loss, dentures can help them eat and speak like normal.

Modern dentures are much more natural-looking than the kind your grandparents may have had. Whether you need a full or partial set of dentures, we can design your new teeth to look just like natural ones!

Do You Offer Full or Partial Dentures?

At New Roc Dental, we have something for everyone. Dr. Wynter and her team are happy to offer both full and partial dentures! We will recommend a type of application after reviewing your personal goals and overall oral health.

We use full dentures to replace all of the teeth in a dental arch. Full dentures can help patients with wide-spread tooth loss regain their ability to speak and eat the foods they love. These types of dentures are removable and are usually held in place by a natural suction effect between your appliance and gums. If you notice that your dentures are moving around or are not staying in place, Dr. Wynter may recommend a special denture glue for extra support.

Partial dentures are ideal for replacing several teeth in a row. Generally, we attach partial dentures by weaving brackets and wires around your natural teeth. This gives them the support they need so you can go about your day normally. We always do our best to make your dentures look as discreet as possible.

Do You Offer Implant-Supported Dentures?

Yes! If you would like a more permanent tooth-replacement option, we are happy to offer implant-supported dentures. These dentures are held in place by titanium implants. Because they are attached directly to the jaw bone, they provide significantly more support and stability than traditional dentures.

Our team is equipped to conduct implant surgeries and most bone grafts. If you need a sinus graft for your implant, we will refer you to a qualified dental surgeon. After your surgery, you will need several months to heal before we can install your new dentures.

Unfortunately, not everyone is eligible to receive implant-supported dentures. During your consultation, Dr. Wynter will examine your gum and bone health to determine if this procedure is right for you.
